It looks like you are trying to use the Client SMTP Submission option. A couple of questions:

    1. Which version of Total Access Emailer are you using?

    2. Does your mail server require TLS?

I'm having the same issue. The error message that comes up is "5.7.60 Client does not have permission to send as this user." or something similar to that. We are trying to connect to an Office 365 Exchange account, and have all the settings correct for connecting via Client SMTP Submission.

Finally got mine working- its not the settings which are causing the issue. I found that i needed my computer to have a static IP and that port 25 (for office365) had to be open on the firewall for my IP address.

    that solved the issue

We have created an additional  page to help assist in the setup of Office 365 as SMTP used with Emailer which can be located here: http://fmsinc.com/microsoftaccess/email/smtp/index.htm
