Auto entering date specific month and year
AnsweredI have an email blast set up to mail to my membership. I would like if possible to have the following message in the text body:
Dear Jim,
Attached is your newsletter for January 2019 (this would be the current month and year).
What I have so far is the following:
Dear [FirstName],
Attached is your newsletter for [(Date(),"mmmm"" , "yyyy")]
however that does not return the Month and Year. I used this similar format in access 2016 to return the month and year on several reports and just thought it would work with emailer.
Could someone please tell me if it is possible to return month and year and how to do that.

Thank you for your question. You can use a query as the data source of your email blast, and add a calculated field that has the current date formatted however you'd like. Then reference that field in your email.
