Total Access Statistics is the most powerful data analysis program for Microsoft Access. It runs as an Access add-in and offers a wide range of statistical functions to analyze your data.
Question
Does Total Access Statistics run a crosstab with the percent of the total based on one group from multiple row headings?
Answer
Yes. For Crosstabs, if you choose more than one Row Field, the percent of total is calculated for the last group. The total value is based on the summary for the groups before the last group.
Using the sample database with the Sample table, choose in the Row Fields: State and Sex, Column Field: Age. and Value Field: Cholesterol:
For Options, choose Count and % of Total:
When you run it, the results show a [GROUP Total] row for each State. Within each state, there are values by gender. The [% Total] is based on the value divided by the [Group Total]:
