How does Total Access Detective show Linked Microsoft Access Tables versus Local Tables? 

Answer

When Total Access Detective compares tables, it examines all the table properties and shows those with differences.

Tables do not have a Linked property that's True/False. They have a Connect property which is blank for a local table and a value for linked tables. The value of the Connect property contains information on the linked database, source table and other connection related values.

Therefore you can easily see a linked table (Connect property has a value) versus a local table (Connect property is blank):

By comparing Connect properties, Total Access Detective also shows tables that are both linked but to different databases and/or tables.
