Problem
Sometimes Microsoft Access may report that your database is in an 'inconsistent state', causing Error 3343 "unrecognized database format" on Windows 10 computers.
Solution
This has been an open issue for Microsoft for some time. We do not have a clear answer for why this happens, or how to solve it. Our investigation has lead us to these two links, which we hope are helpful.
