Background
Total Access Analyzer is the world's leading Microsoft Access add-in product and designed to help you create better Microsoft Access solutions through comprehensive documentation and analysis. Total Access Analyzer offers more than 380 Reports, making it the most power documentation and analysis program for Microsoft Access professionals.
Problem
After you running Total Access Analyzer to document your database, you can view the results and print reports.
Sometimes, the Total Access Analyzer add-in may fail when you press a button with a message like "Object variable or With block variable not set".
Cause
This most likely occurs if Total Access Analyzer is open for an extended period of time. If your Access database crashes, or something resets the Total Access Analyzer add-in while its forms are open, when you try to perform another task, it may crash.
Don't worry, the documentation you generated is not affected.
Solution
To avoid this, don't leave Total Access Analyzer open when you are running code in your database. Close Total Access Analyzer, then re-launch the add-in when you need it.
When the problem occurs, the solution is pretty simple:
- Close Total Access Analyzer and Microsoft Access
- Restart Microsoft Access and open your database
- Re-launch Total Access Analyzer. Your documentations should still be there.
If this does not resolve the problem or it keeps happening as soon as you run the add-in, please contact us with the error log so we can investigate further.
