Background

Total Visual Agent lets you easily schedule and execute the repetitive tasks your databases need. Schedule a wide range of tasks and run them in a fully automated and audited manner. Set start times and end times, and receive emails if anything goes wrong.

Problem

Error on Automatic Launch after Installation: Desc = Component 'tabctl32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Solution

Desc = Component 'tabctl32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

When setup is complete, the tool will launch automatically. In some circumstances where the required dependencies have not completed registering, this error will appear.

The solution to this error is to close the tool, wait approximately 60 seconds, and then launch the tool again.
