Does Total Visual compact the Back End Database in a Microsoft Access Split Database Architecture? 

Answer

Yes. Total Visual Agent supports your front-end / back-end Microsoft Access split database applications. It will compact/repair your backend database(s) on a schedule you specify.

In order to compact a database, your end users must not have the MS Access backend database open. While Total Visual Agent does not offer the ability to log off Idle users during this maintenance period, we offer a product called Total Access Admin which offers this Idle User Logout feature (among many other features). Both of these products are designed to work in conjunction with each other.
