Can I attach PowerPoint presentations with Total Access Emailer?
Answer
Absolutely! Total Access Emailer lets you attach any files that already exist on disk to your emails. This includes Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PDF, text, and even other Access databases. The files can be specified for everyone in your email blast, or you can specify different files for each recipient by specifying the file names in a field from your data source (list of email addresses).
Attachment Files
From the Settings Editor, the Attachment Files section lets you specify the files by name. You can add multiple files:
The Field option would let you specify the field name in your data source that you've populated with the files each recipient should receive.
Attach Embedded Objects
The Attach Embedded Objects section is for attaching files that are created on the fly from your Access reports, tables, and queries. For instance, you can create a PDF from an Access report and filter it for each recipient so that everyone only receives their data.
Zip File
You can optionally combine all your attachments into a single compressed Zip file that you can name and optionally specify a password. The password can be the same for everyone, or you can reference a field name that contains a unique password for each recipient.
