Problem

When installing a product, you may receive an error that says something like;

1670: Unable to load module C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\<text>
Error Code: 32

Solution

Sometimes products are blocked by anti-virus tools or firewalls without providing much context. In the example, above, InstallShield was being blocked by an aggressive anti-virus tool, but the tool wasn't providing the user with any context.

In these situations it is sometimes helpful to temporarily disable those services before running the installer.
